It was four o’clock in the afternoon when Shya stormed into the apartment room frightening her cat, Nuro out of his nine lives.
“This bites! I’ve got forty problems in math, twenty for English, and a big project due in a week for science.” She flounced down on the sofa. Nuro jumped onto her lap, staring at her with eyes that held the day’s sky.
